My World
My world as I see it and live it.
About Me
- Name: The Questioner
- Location: United States
I was born and grew up in paradise. I lived most of my life as a Pollyanna, wearing rose-colored glasses. In recent years, my glasses broke and I saw and became aware of Reality.

A wet, dark day in the desert...
We're getting the storms passing through Southern California although, by the time it reaches us, it's not as hard-hitting. California is having a tough time with the storms. For me, in my part of town, it's just nice to have rain. Spring should be beautiful this year. When the weather dries up and the sun is shining, I'll have to begin my early spring chores in the yard. Washing down the lawn and all of the plants to give them a kick-start, then fertilizing, pruning, trimming, moving plants around, repotting house plants, etc. The list goes on and on.
The books I ordered from Amazon.com came in today! Now I have my smoothies books, my pet book (What Your Dog Is Telling You), books on how to use vinegar, baking soda, and garlic in your everyday life around the home. I also have books on how to make your own safe cleaning products.
This is my year to start creating a better, cleaner, more natural lifestyle for my family, my pets, myself, the environment. It will be my contribution to accepting responsibility for our environmental problems which are grave.
Well, I've purchased the airfare for my sister to come out here for a visit. We only see each other every few years...sometimes many years. With my 2 other sisters living only a couple of hours away, we'll all get together many times during her visit. We'll visit the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Meteor Crater, Painted Desert, Petrified Forest, Montezuma's Castle, etc. With gas prices expected to go up to around $2.50/gal this summer, it won't be cheap but it will be fun with a lot of photographic opportunities for me to use my new cameras.
Do you like to travel? Would you like to enjoy all the perks and privileges of being an Independent Travel Agent without actually Selling travel? Of course, you Can sell travel as an Independent Travel Agent working from home and your computer. You can become one very easily and very inexpensively, too. Interested?

Do You Like To Shop Online?
The weather is nice today. Just right. Not too warm and not too chilly. Perfect. My animals are all fed and happy. I talked with my son and he's feeling much better. He has pneumonia. So, these things make me happy.
Do you like to shop online? Do you like to chat and/or meet people online? Would you like to save a little money when you shop? If you answered Yes to all of these questions, you should check out a new twist on online shopping and chatting/meeting people at this online Mall.
If you already shop at Buy.com, Target.com, Sony.com, iTunes.com, eBags.com, and many more online stores, it may be worth your while to check out the benefits of becoming a Yubbie and have some fun and save with discounts when you begin your shopping from this website. There are two versions of memberships: a free account (only takes a couple of minutes) and a paid account (your discounts are larger).
Some of the goodies I ordered arrived today, too, so it's almost like Christmas. I like it when the UPS man drives up and leaves packages for me. Even though I'm paying for it. I don't mind spending money on things I need or want. After all, that's what money is for, isn't it?
I'm fortunate that my husband doesn't get upset when I buy things. He likes the things I buy.
I've been drinking a lot of green tea in the last few months. I've lost weight I don't want to lose. I'm not sure but I think the green tea has something to do with the weight loss so I'm cutting way back on it. If I stop losing weight and begin to gain again, I'll know it was the green tea. I want to get back the 18 pounds that I lost.
In case you haven't guessed, I'm into natural living, sometimes called green living. It's all about using natural products (no chemicals) around the house and yard to clean and to grow stuff (plants, lawn). I like natural for myself and my animals. I try to use all natural products in everything I do. They're safer for me, my animals, and the environment. The only "natural" product I won't use is animal fur apparel and accessories. In that instance, I prefer faux fur.
Check out My Favorite Stuff post for some books on green living and making your own cleaning and bath and body products. I have all the books on that list.
